What Are The Major Factors Determining The Quality Of Aluminum Profiles?

- Apr 12, 2019-

Firstly, the extrusion defect.

During the extrusion process of aluminum profiles, due to the perfection of machinery and equipment, the maturity of the processing technology and the improper operation of employees, aluminum profiles such as white spots, inclusions, delamination, chromatic aberration, distortion, etc., may affect the quality of the aluminum profiles.

Secondly, the oxide film is thin.

The thickness of the oxide film of the general standard industrial aluminum profile should be not less than 10um (micrometer). If the thickness is not enough, the surface of the aluminum profile is apt to rust and corrode, shortening the service life. In order to save costs, there are some aluminum profile manufacturers with no name, site, production license and certificate. The thickness of the oxide film is only 2 to 4 um, and some even have no oxide film. It is estimated that for every 1um reduction in oxide film thickness, the cost per ton of profile can be reduced by more than 150 yuan. So they can make a lot of profit from it, which is why some customers say that the price reported by a certain company is lower than ours.

Thirdly, the chemical composition is unqualified.

In order to retain customers, some manufacturers can reduce the cost by incorporating a large amount of aluminum profiles of aluminum and aluminum. However, the chemical composition of industrial aluminum profiles is unqualified, which seriously jeopardizes the life of aluminum profiles.

Last but not least, reduce the wall thickness of the profile.

Some manufacturers will make the wall thickness of the aluminum profile insufficient. Originally it was 1.5mm thick aluminum. In order to save cost, they only achieved 1.2MM. In this way, the price of an aluminum material must be much cheaper. But the customer didn't know, but thought that he found a good supplier. In fact, he was tricked and asked him to count the money.
